Apple iPad2 Launched to rule 2011

Steve Jobs on wednesday unleashed the gen-next iPad2 in San francisco.

The new iPad2 is thinner and twice as fast as iPad. Featurewise there aren’t many new inclusions in iPad2 and it is more of a performance enhanced model of iPad.

The reduced weight of iPad2 makes it an easy to carry tablet device. This feature will attract many more ebook readers who would love to carry their books with them on the go.

iPad2 has a dual-core A5 processor which not only makes it faster than iPad1 but also delivers improved graphic peformance.  Also it comes with an improved battery life than iPad.

One more new feature added to the  Apple’s iPad2 tablets is HDMI compatibility. You can connect iPad2 with your TV using a docking cable. This will allow you to see the ipad output on your large TV screen.Add an Image

iPad2 has two built in cameras like the iPhone 4 , allowing you to use both the applications – Photobooth and Facetime. iPad2 runs on iSO 4.3 , the latest Apple software to be replaced on all Apple devices.

The last enhancement is the magnetic Smart Ipad cover. When the cover is placed on iPad2 it automatically puts iPad 2 to sleep and when the cover is removed, iPad 2 automatically wakes up. iPad2 is definitely going to hit sales of its competitors like Motorola Xoom tablet and other android based tablets.

The 9.7 inch iPad2 will come with choices of two colors Black or White. It will be available in 6 different models, 5 of which will cost less than $799. Price determining factors of iPad2 models are wi fi only, wi fi with 3G or 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacity.

You can purchase iPad 2 either online or from stores after March 11th in US and post 25th March in some other countries.
